By using EchoForge ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

EchoForge is an independent gaming hardware curation and community platform operated at https://www.echoforgegear.com.

2. Accounts

• You must be 13 or older (16+ in the EU) to create an account.
• You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
• One account per person.
• We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or behave abusively toward other users.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use EchoForge to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Attempt to game XP, missions, or leaderboards through automated tools or exploits.
• Scrape EchoForge data at volumes that interfere with normal Service operation.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or designed to deceive other users.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you're not authorized to access.

4. Affiliate links

EchoForge contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission when you purchase through them. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

5. Product information

We try to keep gear specs, prices, and availability accurate, but we don't guarantee any of it. Always verify on the retailer's product page before purchasing. EchoForge is not a party to any transaction between you and a retailer.

6. AI assistant

The EchoForge AI assistant ("Tactical Assistant") uses Google's Gemini API. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Treat AI-generated recommendations as a starting point, not professional advice.

7. Intellectual property

EchoForge content (text, graphics, code) is owned by us or our licensors. You may quote and link to EchoForge for non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions of our content without permission.

You retain ownership of content you submit (loadouts, profile information). By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it as part of the Service.

8. Disclaimers

EchoForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of any information, or that the Service will meet your needs.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoForge and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be flagged with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator of EchoForge resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
